Landyachtz ATV-X is Designed by team rider Mackenzie Yoshida, this board is perfectly suited to the epic concrete ditches he shreds regularly. It features a wide platform and plentiful concave to keep you locked on while skating sketchy terrain.

Length: 31" / 79cm
Width: 9.75" / 25cm
Wheelbase: 15" / 38cm

Team Rider Mackenzie Yoshida is most at home on his skateboard riding the gnarly concrete ditches that seem to be everywhere on his home island of Oahu. The terrain he skates isn't for the faint of heart and the design of this board reflects that. At 31″ long by 9.75″ wide it has some extra width to add the confidence and stability that you need to ride away from tricks on big obstacles. Aggressive concave and a steep tail work to keep you locked in no matter what the spot throws at you. This board features our new ATV-X construction which introduces two composite plies to improve pop and durability.

Landyachtz ATV series boards come complete with Polar Bear 155mm trucks to perfectly match the width of the board and provide the ideal blend of stability and maneuverability. All of our ATV setups are finished off with a set of 60mm 78a Lil EZ Hawgs wheels to keep the weight down and roll speed up.

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck.

We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

A wider and slightly longer version of the Dinghy, the Tugboat comes in at 30" long and 9" wide for a super solid, stable feeling ride. The wider platform is ideal for riders with larger feet who are looking for a comfortable cruiser board experience. The extra meat also inspires confidence and gives you more platform to land on when doing tricks on larger obstacles. The Tugboat is pressed with 7 plies of Canadian maple for a light, stiff and poppy ride. This version features one of our new UV activated graphics that change colour when exposed to sunlight. It comes set up with Polar Bear 155mm trucks for maximum stability and leverage. 60mm 78a Fatty Hawgs wheels finish off the setup and ensure you'll have a smooth ride with plenty of roll speed and grip without having to worry about wheelbite.
